shocking

i have just looked through a mail forwarded to me by siowai and it shocked me greatly. it contains many pictures of the people suffered in famines and starvations. they are mainly children, all black. they are exactly like skeletons. after looking at the first two pictures, i was taken aback to look any further. but out of my curiousity, i scrolled through the mail. the last picture was the most depressing one.
it is really cruel, for another human being of the same kind to suffer this way, while we indulge in sumptous meals and comfort living, there are people living in the fervid hellish place, with no food, and even water is scarce. i really wonder, why there is such inequality in life. the people there are deprived of a chance of survival, while we often take it for granted. i really hope that i have the ability to help them someday.
i do not know whether to forward the mail or not. because after looking at the pictures, a sense of depression will find its way to you. if you want the mail, do let me know. i hope that everyone shall appreciate life more.
i shall stop griping over my life. i hope to keep the pictures in mind, though they depressed me much.
