debate

its been a really SUPER busy week! everyday is juz full of debates..

just woke up... all the slp lost was unable to be covered... oh well.

gosh.. as u guys might have alr know.. we got into TOP NINE out of 22 colleges! the schools ranked infront of us are VJC, ACJC, (United World COllege)UWC, Hwa Chong, NY Girls, Cat. High, RJC and NJC. hee =)

the first round we were up against ACS(I)! gosh. we thought we gonna b dead but hey, we WON! second round was against PJC, won as well. but the third was up against UWC!!!! omg... but still, after debating we thought we had a high chance of wining but we lost by ONE point. -.-" everyone was happy though, because we have all done well, esp Charleston, 辛苦你了！ its very brain-draining after each round and our captain endured thru THREE　rounds! gosh..

sigh.. was feeling kinda down.. i would definitely miss my debating days, needless to say my debating mates. met JSS senior Nicholas ytd, and he is alr an adjudicator, i hope to be like him a few yrs ltr =) but.. the feeling would definitely be different.. the days of debating is filled of excitement and nervousness.. and STRESS. but i like it.. seriously LOVE it.. i wanna debate again, i wanna stand infront of the audience again, i wanna express myself thru debating again.. i wanna......................

sounds like tht was going to be the last debate for me, well, if JJ is nt invited to the NUS challenge, it was the last. gosh. im gonna miss.......
debating is not like other passion that we can still carry on doing.. debate requires a formal ground and platform. just arguing is not debating, just expressing ur ideas is not debating, just persuading others is not debating. Debate means much more.. much much more.

gosh. feel like crying so much.
